As Media Asm1061 Driver
The SATA ports on my HP Presario P6214Y motherboard failed. The BIOS would not recognize any of my SATA disks. (it would sometimes for 1-2 minutes after power up) I reset the BIOS to default. I installed an Asmedia Asm106x PCIe controller card and connected my hard drive The system will now partially boot. The computer attempted an automatic system repair, but system repair was unsuccessful and did not help. I was able to boot a system recovery CD. I attempted to load the Asmedia drivers but the driver load failed.
